Stephanie has a PhD in Clinical Biochemistry with broad research interests examining the role of micronutrients in health and disease, more specifically antioxidant micronutrients & coronary heart disease and selenium & immune function. Steph also has an interest in developing and delivering healthy lifestyle educational aimed at adults and aged populations.
Stephanie has expertise in the identification of biochemical, cellular and molecular markers/changes associated with disease processes and nutritional intervention/supplementation. As a Registered Nutritionist, Stephanie is able to provide evidence-based advice to improve diet quality.

Stephanie is the lead for Sport, Exercise and Nutritional Sciences (SENS) and is keen to develop students into employable scientists with high levels of transferable skills, a strong work ethic.
