Mark is a UKSCA accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach with experience working with professional teams such as Wycombe Wanderers, Watford FC and Barnet FC. Additionally, he has lead university modules across Strength & Conditioning, Physiology and Sports Science indicating that, academically he is very well rounded and a great asset to the division of Sport, Exercise & Nutritional Sciences (SENS). Mark also has experience with 2D & 3D motion capture technology used in Biomechanics when clinically assessing human movement across a range of physical activities. Furthermore, Mark also works as a Strength & Conditioning coach with Wigan Athleticsβ youth academy; from there he is able to put his coaching expertise into use and help to develop young talent.

Markβs current research area involves previous collaborations with professional bodies such as Watford FC, Reading Women FC and Wasps RUFC. Markβs research interests span Biomechanics, Physiology and Strength & Conditioning to determine how different training methods/seasonal variance/landing mechanics affect professional athletes.
